“Our first impressions changed as the property was cold on arrival and we were chilled following a long bike ride, so were feeling a bit disappointed. We soon found the thermostat and the place had warmed up by the time we returned from dinner. We had great secure storage for our tandem bicycle. It was very clean, had all of the facilities we required including hot drink making stuff, plates, glasses etc, good shower with toiletries. It doesn't seem quite finished from a décor point of view, but overall we can see that it is going to look great when the superficial stuff is finished. Bed very comfortable. Hosts lovely and friendly / helpful.. nice personal touch of a welcome notice and chocolate. Fantastic spot for access to restaurants.”
