“It's really one of the best backpackers in NZ! Fantastic place in fantastic location. Not near the beach (15 minutes by walk), but it's in the lovely small valley facing picturesque hills. It's spacious! HUGE hall, HUGE and well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Free food shelves. Fresh free-range eggs to cook for breakfast from their own hens. Enormous king-size wooden bunk beds. Good and unlimited wi-fi connection. Super-friendly and welcoming staff. Initially I was going to stay for a couple of nights, but extended my booking up for one week! Piha is a miracle just a step away from busy Auckland.”

“Location was superb. Ocean views were lovely from the front deck and within the living areas of the house including the master bedroom. Walk across the quiet street and step on to the sand. located at the base of the walking trail up the hill to the sensational view points. Perfect scenic place to spend a few days to enjoy and relax.”
