“I loved staying at La Chakana. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff fabulous. They were very sensitive to the needs of those traveling for spiritual and consciousness exploration. I appreciated that. I really liked the location - away from town but easy to walk if in the mood, or take a moto for less than $1. I tried La Chakana for a night, liked it and stayed for another week. Came back again after a 10 day retreat. They had a good quality shared kitchen, with free filtered water and tea.”

“A beautiful place to stay! The location was just outside of the main streets so it was close enough to walk everywhere without all of the noise of nightlife. The room was very comfortable, lots of room and available hangers and shelf space to unpack and make yourself comfortable. The bathrooms were extremely clean and well stocked. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to schedule a taxi to pick me up in the early morning and take me to the airport in Cusco so I didn't have to worry about it.
