“Beautiful luxury tree-house setting, very private, with sweeping views of the forest and ocean. Minimalist decor and sweet-smelling all-wood cabins were all painstakingly built by hand with attention to detail. Guillaume was a very welcoming host who was very responsive to feedback and any needs of the guests, friendly and helpful in planning our hikes. He prepared a delicious breakfast spread with coffee, chilled watermelon-mint water, fresh-baked cakes and breads, delicious yogurt, granola, fresh-cut fruit, cheeses and vegetable salads and eggs cooked to order. He made us feel as if we were guests in his own home! We also loved the eclectic morning music in the lodge, which ranges from trance to guitar ballads to bossanova. We used the pool once which was refreshing and beautiful. Daily housekeeping services were essential as it was quite easy for us to track in dirt and mud from the wooded surroundings. Big, comfortable bed and pillows. Quick drive to many hiking trails. Appreciated the mini-fridge as we used it to store food we purchased at the local market (as the only food available is the breakfast in the morning). Reliable, fast Wi-Fi. Spacious free parking. Peaceful and tranquil for star-gazing at nighttime.”
