“Marvelous house to escape civilization, busy schedules, and the noise of hectic lifestyles. The sounds we could hear were sparse, usually limited to a short dog bark, a muted voice on the street, almost never a dampening car engine. The atmosphere really sets different standards for staying in a place like this - this is also a way of saying you should calibrate your expectations. The house has traditional furniture, which although not surprising in appearance, was actually pretty comfortable. The bathrooms are traditional as well. There are many tools around the house like a steam iron and barbecue grill that you can use while staying there. The best bit has to be the garden though, which in addition to a hammock and lots of green grass also has a nice view to the village church on the hill (see pic). While the idea of this place is to actually see how people lived ages ago, we found it very relaxing and calming for the nerves. Would return to stay a few days longer.”

“The lodgings are light, airy and clean, very pretty (nagyon szép). I felt completely at home, happy cooking and sleeping. Kinga and Zoltán are friendly (barátságos) and very helpful and gave me wonderful hospitality. I got to enjoy Kinga's homemade conserves, baking and garden produce and watch her working on her beautiful felting craftsmanship. No negatives but the nice toilet seat, bigger and better-fitted, would make it perfect! :) I would be delighted to stay here any time.”
