“I like the way the host renovated the old house, I really felt as being in my grandmother home; you have all the modern comfort in a very old house. The view from the property is breathtaking. We spent every evening on the porch to enjoy the view. The yard is very large and in case you have kids they will enjoy it for sure. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The bedroom is big and the bed is comfortable. The host made us feel more than welcome and surprised us with a lot of attention. If you want to feel the spirit of this zone, this is the place to stay.”

“Beautiful setting in the hills backing on the Pietrosul Rodnei this place is a oasis of calm and post card beauty. There are 2 tradițional houses and 4 new log houses on the property. There is a large gazebo for outdoor eating with a huge Bbq and a stream running behind the cabin we stayed making you feel like you were miles away in the wilderness. The 2 bedroom suite we had was perfect with the best bedding I had in Romania except top class hotels. Great attention to detail with traditional hand embroidered bedding and curtains giving it a very authentic feel. The owners are lovely and friendly, made us coffee every morning to drink sitting under the apple tree. They recommended the fresh trout from close to the Moisei Manastire 2 km up the valley that tasted delicious on the coals. Last day the lady owner dressed me in local folk clothes as they have a small museum on site. All in all we loved it and we will definitely come back”

“The hospitality of the owner is just astounding. Although she doesn’t speak English very well that did not hinder her from showing her concern for her guests. She communicated with us through google translate and made us feel at home! She made us a 3 course meal dinner (at a surcharge) which was fantastic and highly recommended! It was a whole lot better than a restaurant experience. Definitely more homey! There was also another Romanian family that stayed with us and they are so much fun. They played local music every night and made you feel very welcome. The cleanliness of the place was also amazing! It’s so clean that you can also smell how clean it is. The room we stayed in had a balcony that overlooks the mountain. Lots of natural light! Although it get a little chilly at night, we were able to ask for extra blankets at no cost.”
