“Super friendly host! The location is excellent, children friendly with a large garden. The bed was very comfortable, we had shower gel and hair shampoo in the bathroom. The place was quiet and we could sleep uninterupted. The kitchen was fully equipped and there is also a big grill outside. Nearby you can visit two gorgeous caves- Pestera Muierilor and Pestera Polovragi plus a small church. There is also a painted forest ( padurea colorata) nearby.”

“From basically every possible aspect, this facility exceeded every expectation. The owners are young, very friendly but discrete , they make you really feel at home, and offered constantly meals ,entertainment or anything one might need. The food was home cooked every single day and you would be let know that food is ready just as if you were home :) These guys really know how to handle this business and should be an example to follow !”

“We loved the extra attention, the baby matress they brought in, the coffee on the house next morning. We adored the huge garden, very peaceful and relaxing. The kids were delighted to see the neghbour's goats and play in the playground. The view from the balcony is very nice and the air so clean. The old couple caring singlehandedly for the house is absolutely great. We couldn't reccommend it more :) Enjoy.”

“As short as I can describe it: quiet, relaxing, very good location, warm welcome, amazing people, great food, wonderful view, comfortable bed and such a beautiful traditional house with extremely clean rooms. and Wi-Fi everywhere. Although there wasn't enough time to visit the surroundings, Casuta din Lunca offered us more than enough to recharge and relax: the orchard near our window, the huge garden full of flowers, the forest behind the garden, the cows with bells, the cats with the small dog. It's not easy to find a location where you wake up in the morning and hear nothing but the cow bells. You need at least 3 days to discover and enjoy the surroundings, and then you can go visit the popular attractions near Racovita (Polovragi, Horezu, Transalpina, etc). Mrs. Nona and Mr. Marian are the perfect hosts: they can give you the best tips for a perfect itinerary, show you the small village and where to eat/buy tasty and traditional food and a little bit of history. We made a special connection with this wonderful people, so instead of spending the time all by ourselves - as we planned, we spent a lot of time talking and having fun with them. They can be the "invisible" hosts, too, but we recommend treating them as friends and you will discover two very special people. I recommend everyone to stay at Casuta din Lunca as long as they treat it like a home. You can see the hard work and the attention to every detail everywhere in this house - it deserves nothing but respect. We felt like home and we won a 3rd pair of parents!”
