“Three aspects to mention. The hut was very basic, but so was our intention to stay basic. We arrived on a stormy night with the winds of 20 something km per hour that night and the morning after. Inside our hut, it was so unexpectedly quiet and warm that it was a real surprise for both us. The bungalows seem to be blending well with the exceptional terrain and the habitat of the Curonian Spit, an important aspect as so many sites now appear to stand out being out of place in the national park. The pies at the dinner table were made that day, tasty and they made a difference.”
