“Vert Nice stay in the Monastry. Nice room and bathroom. Very quiet and clean. Reception was friendly but had difficulties to speak english. There is in the Monastry a school with friedly students who speak good English. I suggest one of this students should do à tour with the tourist staying in the Monastry and explaining the rules of an Orthodox Monastry. I learned a lot from them.”

“Perfect location in incredible Rostov Velikiy. Reception girl, Anastasia, was exceptionally polite and accommodating. The poor girl was still at the front desk in the morning when we checked out. She also arranged our taxi to train station, and had our breakfast in a bag to take with us since we departed early. The small attached restaurant was tasty, rustic, economical, and had friendly staff (Daniel and Kirill were two of the young men — very friendly and polite). Lastly, the hotel is perfectly located in tiny Rostov, with the kremlin only metres away. I recommend it for short stays, which is all you really need for Rostov Velikiy, at least in December. Hotel will also register visa for foreign travellers.”
