“The hotel is very close to the train station (Kil train station is a hub in the Swedish train system): you only have to walk 300 m from the station. The hotel is simple, but cosy and you feel comfortable when you are in your room. The double rooms are much more agreable than the single ones and larger. For a business traveller who has to do business nearby, Kil is a very convenient location to stay. The restaurant of the hotel is only open for lunch, but there are 3 or 4 restauranrs at walking distance that are also open for dinner, even if they are very simple ones, except the Glada Killigen, which is quite good and agreable: it is a pub and food house and it is located at barely 400 m from the hotel, on the same road: you just have to walk back towards the station, pass the station and walk another few meters on the same road. The menu is not very wide, but the food is well cooked and well served and the personel is kind and helpful. The Glada Killigen is also the only restaurant that is open after 21:00: all others close at 20:00 or at 21:00.”
