“It was just behind the biggest mosque in the city, so you could never be lost! The shuttle bus from the main bus station outside of town let us off just about 200 yards from the hotel. There are antiques everywhere, and the decoration is impeccable and amazing. It was a true boutique hotel, but for only about 40 dollars a night! Breakfast was ample with a variety of foods to chose from. There was a beautiful garden where you could have breakfast, and a view of a collection of traditional Muslim headstones from most rooms. Separated from busy streets by a traditional Ottoman alley, the mosque, and a park, we were still within yards of a Carrefore Grocery and other commences. Ah, and the best Turkish bath house in the city was in the same block! And a covered Ottoman market as well.”
