“At first glance, the hotel seems clean, modern, attractive. Some of the staff are not very helpful or friendly. Several minor incidences really took a toll on the enjoyment of our stay. Broken blinds in the room when we arrived so instead of laying down from our exhausting trip, we had to hang out in our room with two maintenance man for about 20 minutes while they tried to fix them. Then the first whole day we were there our room got skipped by housekeeping. When we got back in late that night and noticed we had no clean towels, full garbage, bed unmade we called the front desk. They in turn called in an employee who was home for the night we had to wait 30 minutes for her to get there and then sit around and wait for her to clean the room before we could relax from a long day. Older lady who runs the breakfast is not kind at all, many breakfast items were gone and when I would ask for something she would say sorry we're all out. This was at 8:15 a.m. and breakfast isn't over till 9:30. Water pressure in our shower was very poor. My husband had a hard time getting the soap rinsed off his body. Beautiful looking Lobby, much too expensive for what you get. Though it has a nice look on the outside we decided we would not stay there again.”
