“This place was Great!!! A band I work with had a concert at the Kamikaze. The venue is one block over from the hotel. So this was perfect for us. We had only booked one room with 2 queens. We walked up to the little desk and 2 kids were there to greet us. They were young but very polite and very helpful. As we were getting checked in I had the chance to look around. This place is very neat and old Victorian style setting. The ceiling was covered in white tiles like something you would see in Europe. The smell of yummy food was coming in from the restaurant although I did not get a chance to eat here I would have loved too. When I first walked in the room I was shocked at how big it was. There was a living room with a pull out bed. Full bath with Jacuzzi tub, A small bar with coffee maker and then the bed room. It was super nice. Our room was on the 8th floor with a view looking straight down a street filled with older shops ending at the train station. It was very nice and comfortable. The band was going to book at the hilton down the street but after coming in our room to shower at this place they decided this was much better and booked here. It was very affordable and well worth the money. I promise you will not be disappointed with this hotel. I will be staying here again and hope to get room 807.”

“When we booked this room a computer error meant that all the "specialled" rooms had been booked but the proprietor honoured the booking for us which was brilliant. The room exceeded our expectations being a suite. 2 tvs, two a/c units, lounge suite and nice sitting area, however we encountered a wee surprise in a dehydrated doggy Doo down the side of the couch, and a nice big toenail on the lounge floor, so vacuuming a disappointment. Such a shame as they deserved 5 stars for their effort.”
