“The hotel is sort of strange; it stands right in the center of Taurage in all its glory as if it's some huge 4-star Hilton, but in fact it's a bit run down and fairly cheap. There's no breakfast on offer, elevator doesn't go up past reception floor... Still, no worries. The room we got was large and clean, receptionists were very friendly and helped us find everything we needed in town; I think they were all part of a family taking care of the hotel. A nice breakfast coffee-and-pastry can be had in a bakery/cafe next door, and a couple of grocery stores (IKI, Lidl) are fairly close by.”
