Just a 5-minute walk from the University of Technology (UTS), Vulcan Hotel is a boutique hotel that combines historic architecture with modern interiors, including a peaceful courtyard. I booked this hotel during the weekend when Taylor Swift was in town. Hotel prices were ridiculous, but the Vulcan was reasonably priced and provided complimentary breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this renovated old building has the charm of a boutique hotel. The staff was welcoming and always helpful. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and our room was delightful. It was the perfect place for a 3-night stay and we didnt mind taking Ubers to get to the harbor and explore the city. We loved this hotel

The apartment itself is spacious, bright and airy and well supplied in the kitchen in respect of equipment, pots/pans, crockery and cutlery. The contact with staff on booking was excellent, with clear instructions about the apartment’s location and means of entry provided very quickly after booking.
