Family-run for 150 years, the Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Beautiful locations with perfect scenery, the hotel was very pretty with an amazing pool with mountain views. Our room was spacious and comfortable . We really appreciate LIAN who was very kind and helpful throughout our stay and even at the end. She is very professional and makes sure the guests are comfortable during the stay. A very warm and generous person 😊

Located in Luzern and only 8.6 km from Lion Monument, Marmottin provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It’s an exceptional property in an exceptional location! The host is super responsive, helpful and even shared with us the kit for making the grill! The kitchen is fully equipped, there is even a coffee machine. There is a high-speed internet, 300-400mbps, so you might even work remotely. Near the apartment there is a forest, and also a magnificent view over the Lake. And one more positive thing to mention, the host has around 30 board games! Our 7y.o. child was beyond excited.

Overlooking Lake Lucerne and the Alps, this guesthouse in Meggen is just 6 km from Lucerne and offers free Wi-Fi. The spacious rooms at Gasthaus zum Kreuz are non-smoking. The one staff member was very helpful and quite a servant! The room and the bed were large and comfortable. Don't be turned off by the fact that it's far from Luzern; a busstop is right next to the hotel (literally) and is only about 15 mins into town where it also stops by the train station. You don't have to walk much at all given this. We really enjoyed the sit down breakfast that was included! Selection may have been smaller than some hotels I had been to, but it was clearly more fresh and "homey" than other places.
