Located in Rarotonga, within 2.7 km of Muri Beach and 6.5 km of Albertos, Ocean Escape Resort & Spa provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property as well... A beautifully designed & presented resort in a quiet, peaceful location. The pool area is superb & the villa we stayed in was spotlessly clean, comfortable, & well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything guests would need for an enjoyable stay. A great feature was the automatic soft blue night lighting in the villas which illuminated the stairs & bathroom. Easy on the eyes & no worries about falling over in the dark. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of food provided for breakfast, staff were happy to adjust if you needed a bit more of this & less of that. Completion of the on site Tapas bar & restaurant will be a welcome addition. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but the benefit of this was having the sandy foreshore & outdoor seating area pretty much to ourselves most of the time. Muri is just down the road if you want to swim in the sea & enjoy the company of others.

Boasting beautiful lagoon views from your private patio, Avana Waterfront Apartments offers guests private beach access and lovely tropical gardens. All accommodation features a fully equipped... Apartment is very spacious, big living room, batch and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. One twin and one matrimonial bedroom, the matrimonial one with a great view and balcony. Yes, it is a little run down and it may need a refreshing but everything was in good working order and mattress quality and sheets were great. Fully functional kitchen with all the utensils, spices, dish soap, etc. Great pool as the beach in front is not swimmable, too many rocks. Great use of kayaks to go to the motu just in front where the beach is just lovely. Staff very very kind and professional. A rental car is very recommended, 5 minutes drive to Muri lagoon and 10 minutes to town (Avarua). Would for sure come again, highly recommended.

Enjoy free bicycle rental. lovely artistic decorations, hearing the ocean 24/7, comfortable open layout, Kanoe and Rudy (owners) are delightful and like to leave guests to do their own thing.

In the Avarua district of Rarotonga, close to Avarua Beach, Absolute Beachfront - A Slice of Paradise! features a garden and a washing machine. Fantastic location Whales cruzing by every day. Halve way between excellent snorkling places but far enough away from the main tourists. Very private. We were self catering however plenty of Papaw on the trees for us to eat every day.

Boasting garden views, Serene Holiday Home features accommodation with a garden, around 6.2 km from Albertos. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Nice tidy home a few minutes walk from the Caps supermarket. Perfect stay for our family of 6. We loved the nice big yard, comfy outdoor loungers and double head, tiled shower.

Set 7 km from Albertos, JO's Farmstay-charming holiday farm close to famous Muri Beach offers accommodation with a patio, as well as free bikes and a garden. This location is very scenic, situated with the peaks of the mountains behind it. There are native fruit trees and guest are welcome to pick a vine ripe passion fruit. The hosts are warm and welcoming, Joe & Odette treat you like family. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast. The cabins are sweetly decorated and well equipped. We especially liked the handcrafted touches in the furnishings and building materials. We could tell that alot of heart and care was put into building these units. We like chickens, cats, and goats, so we felt at home here. Joe and Odette sent us off with a hug. That is what kind of lodging this is.

Featuring accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a patio, Mango Cottage is set in Rarotonga. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. What a beautiful, spacious cottage! We absolutely loved our (extended) stay here at Mango Cottage. It’s a little set back from the road so you have privacy, but also really safe. The plunge pool also gets sun all day so it’s a great place to catch some rays and cool off after a beach day. They have everything you need here including a WiFi hotspot and fully stocked kitchen. There a small shop 2 mins walk in one direction, and a larger one 10 minutes in the other. We didn’t get one, but I would recommend a car or scooter, which are great for the rainy days. Muri Beach is also a 30 minute walk away, making this cottage really well placed. Tony and Lhia were exceptional hosts and even though they were next door, we didn’t feel like we were being watched over at all. They’re very knowledgable about the island and have loads of suggestions of things to do. Also, we could not be more thankful for all the support they provided us when we became stranded due to the flooding in Auckland. Words cannot do enough justice for how much we appreciated their care. We would really recommend staying here and hope to come back in the future.

Just 5 minutes' drive from shopping and dining options, Ikurangi Eco Retreat offers an onsite swimming pool and free tropical breakfast. The bungalow was spacious and very comfortable, Viki and Alan were lovely and helpful , took the time to recommend some lovely activities , and give us information about the island .the breakfast was delicious , overnight oats were our favourite . That was a Big plus - the variety of breakfasts , Id definately stay there again!
