Ideally situated in the centre of Santiago, BHB Hotel Boutique features continental breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Very comfortable and good size room, modern design, everything is new. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Very helpful and attentive, English speaking staff. Good location, close to the historic center, but on a quiet street. Definitely will recommend this comfortable and safe hotel to my friends.

Your morning will start with a delicious two-course breakfast of breads then eggs cooked to your preference. The rooms were spacious, with a large workstation (I bring my laptop while traveling to process photos). The beds were comfortable; they even had turn-down service! Bathroom was clean, shower had amazing water pressure. Location is right next to a vibrant restaurant scene and walking distance to the magnificent Pre-Columbian museum. Make sure to check out the ice cream shop across the street! Finally, I loved the courteous and helpful staff. The service is impeccable and deserve 10 out of 5 stars. After check-out, they even allowed us to use the spa to freshen up before our late flights. The rooftop bar was marvelous, offering a variety of drinks including one with calafate liqueur, which basically guarantees that we'll be back!

Only 200 metres from Bellas Artes Museum, Hotel Foresta offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV in Santiago. Bellas Artes Metro Station is 150 metres away. Perfect location,great staff and top notch internet service. I plan on returning in a couple weeks after rounding the horn!

In a prime location in Santiago, Lastarria Hotel features 4-star accommodation close to Santa Lucia Hill and La Chascona. The staff was really helpful when we needed to add an extra room and even offered us an apartment for just a little more. The place was really clean, new upgraded surfaces and really comfy beds. We liked the big windows overlooking the bustle of this happening street below. The windows block a lot of the noise, although not entirely, so just be aware that it's a city location. It's fun to walk out the door and right into the yummy food store below (called Fork) and the many restaurants nearby. We also walked to the historical attractions like the Castillo Hidalgo and the Plaza de Armas.

The staff make this hotel, Derek and others went of their way with recommendations and support. The hotel is in a great location and is easy to get to via metro and taxi from the airport. There are many nice restaurants on the same street and it all feels very safe. Our room was cleaned to the highest standard every day and we had fresh water and coffee.

The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. We were given easter eggs on Easter morning which was a nice touch. We had a late flight on our check-out day and the gave us a late check-out time.
