Full of history and character. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. The courtyard is a green oasis. Excellent location. The kids also loved it!

The rooms running around this courtyard are well equipped with air-conditioning and overall are well incorporated in the colonial style with the old stone floors and arches. The restaurant is exceptionally good! This makes it a perfect place to stay if you're not feeling like traveling to another location for lunch or dinner. The Peruvian kitchen gives a varying menu where there is something for everyone to enjoy. In my three weeks of staying in the Dominican Republic, this is the place where the food was the most delicious.
