Located in the historic centre of Parma, Grand Hotel di Parma is a 19-th-century building set in 10,000 m² of private grounds. I've never stayed in a "palace" with such high ceilings and massive windows and space in the room and bathroom. It feels like being in a palace. The huge shower had amazing water pressure and was as big as the bedroom. They kindly upgraded us to a junior suite that was warmer than the room we had booked when a cold snap hit Parma. The staff was wonderful, especially the ladies.

Set beside the greenery of Parma's Parco Ducale, Starhotels Du Parc is set in a historic building with its period façade and Art Nouveau interiors. Very clean and comfortable room. We stayed there for 2 nights during L’Etape by Tour and the location was great. Even though there were or congress and it was very crowded at the reception, the staff was always smiling and happy to help.

The room was spacious and very clean. It had complimentary water, coffee and juice. The bathroom was very big and very clean. The room was also very warm despite the cold weather. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Hotel Brenta is a very clean hotel situated close to the train station of Parma and also 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Room for 2 persons was of a good size and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was also good, nothing to say. I had scrambled eggs, sausages, parma ham cheese....and also some tarts and croissants. Finally the hotel staff was very helpful throughout our short stay, especially the lady at the desk on our arrival which explained us everything to the detail offering us also an excellent capuccino and coffee with milk (maltese style!!) Consequently we felt like at home. Good job and keep it up.
