The breakfast was lovely, we didn't have the Japanese breakfast as we came down late but the western style breakfast which was delicious. There was also lots of choice from the continental section (the tiny pastries where delightful). The room was spectacular and well worth the money. They'd thought of almost everything we could need and it was extremely spacious. The staff where very friendly and spoke good English, which given our very limited Japanese we where very grateful for. We only stayed for one night but the morning we woke up it was rainy and for those staying they had umbrellas that could be rented. This might be quite common but it was the first time we saw it advertised. It is a little bit of a walk from the station, so bare that in mind, but it isn't too long. There's also lots of small restaurants in the vicinity which is very handy.

Situated at a 13-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station, newly built in October 2017, Samurai House is a 2-storey accommodation with air conditioning and free WiFi. We love the place so much. It's cosy and comfortable, easy to find and we got 3 bicycle to explore the city. Thank you so much Samurai House, we will definitely return.

Attractively set in the Nakamura Ward district of Nagoya, APA Hotel Nagoya Ekimae is situated 3.5 km from Nagoya Castle, 3.8 km from Oasis 21 and 6.8 km from Aeon Mall Atsuta. Everything! Staff was excellent and the rooms were large and comfortable. This hotel has an open air design, which is unique but the halls can be cooler than expected, we were put in a closed hall area with a door to control the temp in our hallway. Very nice. The rooms were set up nicely and the view was excellent. The staff made sure our rooms were next to each other and my mom really enjoyed the large spa baths.

Good variety of breakfast options. Close to the station. There are couple of restaurants around. A handy corner shop across from the street.

The selection offered for breakfast was amazing, delicious, and fresh. I stayed for 3 nights and each day was a different menu!
