Hotels in Gandan Monastery District, Ulaanbaatar

Boasting a terrace, a restaurant as well as a bar, Nomado Boutique Hotel is set in the centre of Ulaanbaatar, 1.4 km from Ulaanbaatar Opera House. I booked a twin room at Nomado Boutique Hotel for a few days. If you are looking for an extraordinary hotel, this is the place for you. It's a place with amazing room decor that will surprise anyone (and frankly, I was surprised too). It is reasonably priced. You can make a reservation on a website called booking.com.

Boasting a bar, Land Hotel is situated in the centre of Ulaanbaatar, 1.4 km from Ulaanbaatar Opera House. Very easy to arrive to the center, clean and friendly staff!! it's the 4th time I'm staying at this hotel and I feel that it's an autectic Mongolian experience! Not the normal turistic hotel :-)

Danista Nomads Tour Hostel is located in Ulaanbaatar. This hostel awarded 2014 and 2015 of excellence by booking.com website, which has been confirmed a comfortable and safe stay by hundreds... The rooms are not contemporary looking but they have beyond the basics needed for a luxury stay: private en-suite bathroom, hot water all day long, power shower, good mattresses, hair dryer, clean towels, big windows! This cozy hotel is located on a little side-street making in a sweet little quiet haven next to the hectic traffic of UlaanBaatar only a short straight 15 min walk to the centre. Many convenient stores nearby and the amazing Gandan Temple just a couple streets up. Oh, and they have a fulfilling breakfast set prepared just for you and coffee tea that you can enjoy throughout the day, in the cute little ger they’ve set up in the lounge area, allowing a contact with the Mongolian nomadic lifestyle even when in the city Al the staff will go beyond their way to make your experience in Mongolia as nice as possible - you can join their tours, arrange private drivers, get your laundry done - you name it!!!!! I cannot recommend this place enough. 1000/10!!!!!

Attractively situated in the centre of Ulaanbaatar, Gandan Terrace Guesthouse is a recently renovated guest house, which features free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. Large rooms, very well located, owner operators are fantastic - couldn’t have been more helpful - lovely people.

Well set in the centre of Ulaanbaatar, Town Yard Hostel provides free WiFi, a terrace and free private parking for guests who drive. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere in the communal kitchen. They made an effort with the breakfast too.
