Personal touch from the hotel host Miguel, provided itineraries and suggestions on where to go, what to do (factoring weather) and where to eat. The rooftop bar was quite cool. Good location. Apartment was very large and had SMEG equipment, very nice touch.

Offering a terrace and city view, Alexia Room is set in Funchal, 1.7 km from Marina do Funchal and 15 km from Girao Cape. The room is very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need and it’s located near the old city centre. The host was amazing! She allowed us to leave the luggage at the apartment before the check-in since we arrived in Funchal very early. The communication went very smoothly! The morning after we found the breakfast box on the table with fresh fruit, croissant, bread and lots of other fresh food! Amazing!

Situated in Funchal and only 500 metres from Almirante Reis Beach, Apartments Madeira Barreirinha features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location was perfect, loads of restaurants and bars close by, there is also a swimming complex 2 minutes walk away. The on site parking was really handy, also if you don't have a car and are relying on tours etc, this location is a great option. The rooftop pool was stunning, it was bliss having drinks up there at night looking at the stars. Our stay was absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend staying here. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The host was super helpful and even organised a last minute airport transfer for us. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer.

Dona I Apartments at Botanical Garden features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Funchal, 1.9 km from Almirante Reis Beach. I don't know where to start except - Andreina and Alex, thank you! You are the best host I've ever had. Communication with Andreina was great! She was available 24/7 and allowed us quite early check in and also on the check out day we left our baggage until 7 pm in the apartment. Alex welcomed us at the apartment, showed us around, gave many tips and tricks and also was always around if needed help for anything. It's so rare these days that hosts welcome you on your arrival. Apartment was everything we hoped for. Clean, spacious, with enogh towels, toiletries (even makeup remover wipes!) and with great views over the city! Parking sport is very covenient, free and you approach it from the steep road but nothing to be worry about. Location is great for driving around island as it's close to exit for Via Rapida and also is short drive to the Funchal centre. I highly recommend you to book your stay here as I will, for sure, be back over and over again!

In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V has free WiFi and a washing machine. This guest house features accommodation with a balcony. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

Attractively located in the Santa Maria district of Funchal, Apartments Madeira City Center is situated 600 metres from Almirante Reis Beach, 1.4 km from Marina do Funchal and 14 km from Girao Cape. The apartment was very central and well equipped. A charming host who arranged a taxi from the airport and was so waiting to greet us. Furthermore, he phoned me the day after we had left to say I had left a couple of personal items to arrange their return. I would recommend this apartment as everything was excellent.
