The property has a very good location in the old center and it is managed by kind staff. Rooms are nice decorated, clean and warm (we really appreciated this because it was winter!) Moreover, we had a surprise, the some of the rooms have a nice side sea-view! Breakfast was incredible! We strongly recommend this place.

The location in Gamla Stan (Old Town) is perfect. So many wonderful things to discover within a very short walk. The house, being over 400 years old, has a charm no modern hotel can match. Indeed the steep winding stairway is not for everyone (it is very narrow and very steep), but it adds a great quality to the hotel. The room was quite large and the somewhat uneven floor gave a really fun aspect to staying. Indeed... it is really a building over 400 years old. Every little detail is done with the greatest of care. It is obvious there has been a lot of thought put into this hotel. The staff was excellent and ever so helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the fact you can get little snacks of pastries, cookies and coffee really when you wanted made it even better than expected. Our flight was leaving late in the evening, but we were able to leave our luggage with no problem making the final day relaxing and easy. If it were possible to rate it higher than 5 stars I would.

We were met maybe by the owner of this hotel. He was very friendly, told us even the short history of this building. Our room and bathroom were super clean, without DNA of previous guests. The bed was very comfortable too.
