ARYA Boutique Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Kiwengwa. Our stay at Arya Boutique Resort has been an absolutely amazing experience! This was a trip to celebrate our honeymoon and we were certainly treated like royalty (which I saw so many others had stated in their reviews and yet my expectations were still exceeded!). The staff were ever so polite and genuinely willing to assist when we needed something. The cherry on top was Laura's kindness, generosity and transparency of her personality. We felt so comfortable and were incredibly spoiled by Laura and the staff. This truly was a hearty experience. Arya Boutique Resort is a very special place indeed. I would highly recommend it.

Great location on a quiet strip of beach. Really clean. Exceptional breakfast. Simai does whatever he can to help out. Will come back some day.

Very beautiful hotel in a calm and less touristic area of Zanzibar! We had the top floor room with sea view for our honeymoon and we were amazed! The staff is also very helpful and caring, they even came to our room in the evenings to spay for mosquitos and fix the net of the bed!

Located on the beachfront with views of the Indian Ocean, Sultan Sands offers traditional-style African huts with a balcony or terrace. This place is absolutely stunning and we already plan to come back! :) We booked 4 nights and then extended for 4 more as we really liked the resort. Amazing food 3 times a day (all you can eat buffet), live music every day!! plus local dance shows and masai performances, beautiful beach with the finest white sand, very kind and helpful staff members, nice architecture and decorations in the hotel. We were bit afraid of the low tide in Zanzibar when we read about it, but you can swim all day long except maybe 2 hours during lunch time, so it was absolutely ok. We did also some nice trips with the local people selling their services on the beach, they are little bit pushy but we always had a great time and never regreted, plus you support local people directly and not just the resort. The beach is very clean, there is just grass from the sea, some days more some days less. We have been to many exotic countries all around the world so we can compare the resorts and we were really surprised that we haven't seen a single piece of plastic or garbage on the beach during our 8 days here, wow!

Located in Kiwengwa, 39 km from Peace Memorial Museum, Asili Nyumbani Residence provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Great host, who went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great stay. Nice location. Walking distance to the beach. The room has both a fan and AC, which helps with keeping the place nice and cool.

Facing the beachfront, Veraclub Zanzibar Village offers 4-star accommodation in Kiwengwa and has a garden, restaurant and bar. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! We stayed at the same pricerange in Nungwi, and excpected the same standard. But this was incredibly fresh, modern, light, clean in a minimalistic scandinavian/bali-design. Beach beds were SO comfy, they played good music (afrobeats) by the beach, very safe with guards around the beach area, almost no mosquitos to be found. Very windy compared to the west side but it's quite nice during a hot day. Yummy breakfast with freshly cooked egg and pancakes etc. Also loved the good lightning in the bathroom.

Surrounded by lush vegetation and offering a private beach area, Bahati Villa is situated on Kiwengwa beach. The small hotel offers a restaurant and bar and a tour desk. I was upgraded to a bigger room and I had my own outside seating area. Excellent and plenty of choices of food for breakfast. The restaurant also served delicious lunch and dinner. The location was safe and quiet. Security on property. Friendly owners and staff. The back up generator really helped when the whole Zanzibar lost power for several hours.
