The location was perfect, and the room was spacious and clean. It definitely exceeded my expectations!

Within 5 minutes' walk of Fisherman's Wharf, the Portola Hotel & Spa is 1.6 km from the historic Cannery Row. Guest rooms feature a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. We like the room the moment we step in, the room is cosy and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and location is good.

We booked this last minute on Booking.com and I was worried it was a B&B but it was a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the town. The breakfast was healthy and fun served on colourful Fiesta Ware. The room was immaculate, spacious and charming. The staff was helpful during our stay and then went above and beyond by shipping items back to me that I left in drawer. I cannot praise Merritt House enough!

Hotel Pacific is a boutique hotel located in the centre of Monterey just steps away from the Monterey Conference Center. the decoration was very nice; the room was large; there was a balcony;
