We went for our honeymoon and they prepared the room with champagne and decorations, this amazing detail melted my heart, you can tell they care. All the staff is super friendly, they were so everything to help you with recommendations for dinner and tours. Derwent house is the best option if you are looking for a “home” feeling, all decorations are amazing, I wanted to buy everything I saw, you can see love and attention in every single detail. Breakfast was espectacular, complete and with good flavor. Afternoon tea, coffee and cakes makes the difference, again you feel taken care of. Thank you to all the staff Luca, Oliver, Gladys, Patience, housekeeping and kitchen for doing our honeymoon very memorable. You won two more customers for life! Will be recommending it as much as we can!

So quiet and lovely courtyard and indoor area to relax and work. Staff are super attentive. It’s small and very relaxing. Everything worked a treat. Highly recommend.

This trendy boutique hotel is situated at the foot of Table Mountain, it has solar panels installed, it right off Kloof Street. We absolutely loved our stay at Kensington place. Our room was modern and had a spacious balcony with amazing views of Table Mountain. The breakfast was fantastic, could be served to the room, and was available late for those of us who like to sleep in. The service was also outstanding - they had plenty of suggestions, were very attentive, would put hot water bottles in our bed at night, and would offer to send tea up to our room when we got back from dinner. The lobby and grounds are also beautiful. It was too chilly to use the pool, but we enjoyed sitting around the fireplace. The area is very quiet and peaceful, and was convenient for exploring the rest of Cape Town.

Set in a tropical garden, this guest house is nestled on the lower slopes of Table Mountain and impresses with its elegant interior and magnificent views. Nice boutique hotel with spacious modern rooms. The location is perfect, close to city attractions at the same time very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
