Situated just 1.9 km from Parkview Golf Club, B&B on 8th Avenue provides accommodation in Johannesburg with access to a terrace, barbecue facilities, as well as full-day security. We had an incredible stay with Denise and Phoebe the cat. Everyday began with a breakfast at Denise's breakfast table where we shared stories and sighed about poltics or learned new things about the area's archaeological digs. Denise is a lovely, well-informed, easygoing and hospitable person. She took a lot of trouble to suggest things that we'd enjoy and things we should look out for. Even her other guests were warm and gracious and friendly. The rooms are simply delightful, very comfortable and well-equipped. The area is in a high-security neighborhood. Outside the room is a couple of tables and chair as well as the patio area you see in the picture if you just want to chill and read a book. I think the best part is that Denise relies on water tanks and solar energy, so there is no fear of load shedding or water cuts to dampen your stay. I think I could happily stay a month or more at such a comfortable place. And Denise let us use her garage to park our rental car so we weren't worried about it either.

Our large room had a comfy patio in a lovely garden Conway was an attentive host with plenty of great tips for our first visit to Jo’burg. The Soweto tour with Cecilia was thought-provoking. Overall a great place to land!

The host was nice and welcoming. the location is perfect and safe. the place was clean and the host attended us whenever we needed.

"La Couronne" is situated in Johannesburg, 9 km from Apartheid Museum and 9 km from Gold Reef City Casino, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. This was our second time staying with Laura and Walter and we loved it again. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home and the apartment has everything you need, including a nice view. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and see you next time!

Set in a historic building surrounded by gardens and a furnished terrace, Melville Turret Guesthouse offers guests stylish accommodation. Prisca is a wonderful host. Turret guest house was a relaxing oasis. Prisca helped to arrange a guided day tour of Jo’burg including Soweto which was excellent. Situated 5 minutes away from shops, cafes, bars and restaurants the location was perfect and it felt safe to walk in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Can definitely recommend this guest house.
