The only downside was having to leave this slice of paradise.

Located within 11 km of Cango Wildlife Ranch and 15 km of Oudtshoorn Golf Course in Oudtshoorn, Schoemanshoek Glamping provides accommodation with seating area. My second stay here. I was on a business trip and this venue allowed me to wind down before meetings the next day. Will not recommend in summer though but the owner was nice enough to show me one of the units in the guesthouse. All these units have aircon. I am back in Oudtshoorn in January next year and this is my go to property.

Only 10 km from the famous Cango Caves, De Poort Country Lodge offers self-catering accommodation. A continental breakfast is available on order at an extra charge and only available as room service. The best thing about the property is the hostess Elna. She and her husband run the place with a lot of love for hospitality. This is typically why we prefer a bed & breakfast/lodge type of place over a hotel. Apart from the warm welcome, Elna gave us some amazing information on the area and some sightseeing we could do. This made all the difference for our stay.

Nestled in the Schoemanshoek Valley, Altes Landhaus Country Lodge is traditional Cape Dutch style homestead, only 15 minutes' drive from the centre of Oudtshoorn. Fantastic! The people, staff did anything to make it a special stay. Congratulation to the team!

This 4-star guest lodge is situated on the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains and is home to a working ostrich farm. A la carte restaurant, rooms were great, had a lovely night, do relaxing, great breakfast

Located with the backdrop of the Swartberg Mountains, Oude Meul is en route to the Cango Caves. The property features 2 pools among extensive native gardens. very beautiful place and very good stuff
