The host Denis and his wife went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The glas of champagne on arrival and every evening was a lovely touch. The continental breakfast was freshly sourced, homemade and so tasty. We also had a four course meal cooked one of the nights by the host. This included wine pairings to suit each course. It was by far the best meal we had on our holiday. The location was a small bit off the beaten track but worth the extra few minutes to get there. It was so tranquil ypu could hear yourself think. It was the perfect area to relax in after a busy day out discovering the region. The views were outstanding as you looked out both your bedroom window and the back garden.They were just magical. The rooms were comfortable and homely . Denis told us that he had done all the construction himself and it showed as the rooms were so individual and full of character.
