I think all my ratings are quite accurate, except that there should be a super smiley face for the innkeeper host who was really tremendous- very welcoming, extremely helpful and exceptionally pleasant. There is also an inn kitty. If you don’t like cats, no worries, the innkeeper will keep her away. However, Robert, the innkeeper, heard us clearly indicate we enjoyed cats, and so Pebbles, a Calico, was allowed into the backyard garden while we lounged out there. That brings me to another point/ the garden and the inn’s interior are meticulously maintained, making the stay even more enjoyable. Parking was no problem at this inn, with plenty of adjacent spaces.

Rumpys is a lovely home from home. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and sweet treats. Rumpy’s feels luxurious with high quality linens and tasteful decoration throughout. There was plenty of space for three generations of our family of seven. The house is spotless and well cared for with plenty cleaning supplies available for our whole stay. The downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were great for my parents with mobility problems. The hot tub was bliss after a day of exploring the East Neuk!

The property was situated within an easy walk to the beach and the golf course. We could also walk into the town centre. It is an ideal house for a family break and the back garden is secure for children. We were also met by the host who showed us around the house and made sure we knew how everything worked. Thankyou very much Anstruther and the East Neuk of Fife is really beautiful and we had suberb weather.
