Traditional local cottage that has been tastefully renovated but still retaining character. Easy access via a key box. Cosy lounge and bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom with the bed tucked into a nook was fun for the kids. Walk in shower. Large TV with a stash of DVDs and Netflix. Two good pubs within a stones throw. Excellent base for walking and visiting the caverns.

We enjoyed our stay at the Castle, it's in a superb location, it was clean and had all the amenities that we required. The staff were superb and the food lovely. A real plus was that they serve dinner at times to suit families with young children. We had read mixed reviews online but in our experience we would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

The facilities were clean, our room was really spacious and the property was beautiful. Each bed had a little reading light which is such a nice touch and the beds were very comfortable. We spent the morning on the grounds, the children just running around free, playing in the trees and exploring. The communal kitchen was large and clean and the dining area had a lovely vibe with families sitting around tables chatting and playing games. The location was great, just a short walk from all the pubs and sights. Would definitely stay again.

Alan was an absolute dream of a host and his guesthouse is better than I imagined. Quite frankly the pictures don’t do it justice! Outside is stunning with plants and vines and a fun purple door, inside is spotless and spacious with loads of helpful suggestions for best walks in the area. We spent 3 days here and the village had everything we needed and more! We will 100% be recommending this guesthouse to all of our friends and family and will hopefully be back in the future! Thanks so much Alan!

The location is in the heart, the pub attached is lovely with different atmospheres depending on where you sit; beer garden over split levels, grass, front terrace, traditional dining, and various lounges. The room described as a small double was as big as any standard double I have stayed. Clean, TV, hair dryer, Space for belongings, nice shower room, tea and coffee amazing mam tor view. Relatives stayed in a family room which was spacious and had an additional sofa bed and room for a travel cot. Very pleased with this stay
