An absolute gem of a B&B. The host is very welcoming and provides her guest with all the necessary services. Our room (7) was very spacious with a huge King size bed. The bathroom was very spacious as well, and SUPER clean. Needless to say that the provided breakfast meets the high standard of the B&B in general and the room in particular. Lakeside view and balcony; big comfy beds. Nice touch with umbrellas and wellies to borrow. Helpful reception staff. Children’s playground. Nature trail. Near to Water park visitor centre. Can hire kayaks etc in reception. Bar man was kind enough to give us milk for toddler (we offered to pay). Restaurant staff accommodating for toddlers and young children; let us take the leftover pizza in a box

The hotel is situated in a country park so has lots of great walking trails and is great place for families with children and dogs, there's even a dog wash area for muddy paws!. Our room was very comfortable and had a balcony and lake view. Although we didn't dine there in the evening, we thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous breakfast, there was everything you could want and the cooked breakfast was hot and delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel and would nave no hesitation in staying at there again.

Harrier Lodge was a comfortable, clean and happy location to meet up with another family. The children absolutely loved the location and it was wonderful to wake up in the morning next to the water. The on site facilities are brilliant and I would really recommend here for a family meet up

The location. My son and family have just moved to the area and I was there visiting/helping out with their new home. With five children being there too I decided to have a little ‘space’ for myself!

All great, few niggles - bathroom looked a bit tired in our family room, service slow in the bar for food, rushed breakfast…. With 2 small children that can eat slower 30mins for breakfast was a little tight. Lovely venue, decor, location & helpful staff, would definitely stay again.

We had amazing holiday and would like to come back. Super location. Not many places we can find where at the same time can do fishing and kids can have so much fun. There was lots to do and we really enjoyed it. Also is nice that we could take our cat with us. Everything was provided nothing else we really needed. Very good communication. Highly recommended place for family holidays
