Our stay was brilliant, excellent location between Coniston old man and the lake. The hosts were super lovely and welcoming. The room was clean and just what we needed for two nights. Breakfast was lovely and tasted great. Can not recommend enough!

The building is amazing, everything to experience what I presume is conventional local style. Family room was convenient for all 4 of us, two adults and two kids.

This was a family holiday and the staff didn’t mind the extra asks or the exciting behaviour of the kids (busy toddlers!) - instead they were calm, friendly and having games and kids activity books handy. The house has been furnished to a high standard with amazing views both front and rear of the property. The gardens are also well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The house is very convenient for both families with young children and elderly parents. We enjoyed our stay at Holme Fell.

I would thoroughly recommend it for families and we may book it again in the future for a family holiday. Location was easy to find and local to all that we needed.
