Awarded 4 stars by one of Britain's most prestigious travel guides, Maison Dieu Guest House is set close to Dover’s White Cliffs and 5 minutes’ drive from Dover's Ferry and Cruise Ship Terminal. It offers award-winning rooms with free Wi-Fi and has free parking available.

My brother and I came to Dover for the weekend in order to visit the famous White Cliffs, and we spent a night at Maison Dieu Guesthouse. We chose this particular guesthouse for its high ratings. Upon arrival, the hosts were very friendly and kindly offered us a cup of tea with biscuits. The room itself had all the amenities we needed, and a table with a kettle and tea/coffee. The heating inside our room worked very well. We had our private bathroom on the same floor, and everything was clean and nicely organised.

The room was a good size for a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 infants, 1 toddler). It was clean and had a bath. There was a cafe/restaurant providing breakfast. The main restaurant (MPW' Chophouse) not ideal for meals traveling with small kids.

Everything was as expected and described. Quick and easy check in. The family room was a very generous size and comfortable. The secure car park in the back was perfect. We only stayed for one night after a long drive and will definitely return next time we have to catch an early ferry. Would definitely recommend.
