Each room in our 200 year old Victorian cottage, although small compared to hotels, are far more cosy and homely. They all have inbuilt en-suites which are functional, not overly spacious but modern and very clean. Each room features free Wi-Fi, a TV, an en suite bathroom with free toiletries, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Please note Sunnyside bed and breakfast is a warm and friendly family home it is not a hotel or guest house and is subject to normal family routines.

A good place for a stopover from a long drive. Hosts were friendly and warm in welcoming us. Breakfast was good with 4 options to choose from. Nice house.

Set in Cardross, Cardross Inn features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is non-smoking and is located 25 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens.

Our entire experience at Cardross Inn was brilliant. We chose this quiet spot for our last night in Scotland before heading home to Australia. It was 25 minutes from the airport (rental car drop off in Paisley). From the moment we arrived until we left, we could not have been more welcome. The receptionist was cheerful, and showed us to our rooms, small, but very modern, exceptionally clean, and well equipped. We went downstairs to have a drink, and walked into the bar next to the restaurant, there were 10+ locals having a drink, and they welcomed us like long lost friends. The food in the restaurant was fresh, huge portions, and served with the biggest smiles. The manager even came and said hello whilst we ate. The best food we ate in Scotland.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - horrendous experience & only got £15 refund! All rooms at the front are right alongside the very busy main road Carpets in both the corridors & bedroom were disgusting No food being served as "Our cooker has broken" At 3am, drunks up and down the corridors trying all the bedrooms doors - a very frightening experience. We called the police and they safety escorted us out at 3.30am. We were quite shaken up by this time

The location was ideal as we were near family We were allowed our dog in the bedroom and that was a big plus. A great value family-run hotel on the main road into Dumbarton, and handy for the castle. We were happy with the comfy room and shower, and also ate a good value dinner and breakfast here. It's often cheaper to pre-book the breakfast in advance, so check before you travel. Plenty of (free) parking adds to the convenience. It's a great starting off point to explore Loch Lomond and the Highlands.

The staff were excellent so nice and easy to talk to nothing was an issue for them, the food was amazing! (Chef sure knows his stuff) Our stay was so pleasant and our wedding was exceptional! The bar staff were brilliant and definitely kept our guests happy it was an overall pleasure to have the experience of staying at the abbortsford our family are still talking about it days later! And my little boy loved it that much he claims he wants to come back and stay forever and he never says that about anything as he is so easily home sick!

Very nice hotel, booked a family room which is actually 2 connected rooms. Good in size, big very comfortable beds, an excellent choice for breakfast (you can select one of 8 pre-defined menus). There is also a restaurant and a bar for the evening. Big parking space in front of the hotel. Located just 5min drive from Loch Lomond.
