The location was great, it's not that far from the centre and Ilfracombe is a nice city to visit. We really enjoyed the hotel and the room, everything was clean and practical for a family of 4. Margaret and Nick are great host, they did an amazing breakfast. We requested a cot which was there when we arrived, parking was free, the B&B is nicely decorated.

Fantastic hosts. Violet and George (Chef) were genuine, lovely, and exceptionally helpful. The room was larger than we expected and had everything to make our stay great. The breakfast was beautiful and the menu had a great choice and was a fabulous start to the day. We will use this B&B in the future with our travels to Ilfracombe.

A very comfortable bed & breakfast. Heather was a wonderful host, answered all our queries and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, best English breakfast I've ever had. The location was just perfect, very close to everything, The Tunnels, the front and the high street. Ilfracombe is just beautiful. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Wildercombe Houses’s spacious, wooden-floored dining room has views of the Welsh coastline. Breakfast is served each morning and includes full English options, and lighter continental choices, with meals made from local ingredients.

This is one of the most wonderful rooms I have ever rented! The hosts, Ann Marie and Barry, greeted me warmly upon my arrival and were generally available but not intrusive. The room was simply stunning! It was like having my own little apartment set in a historical property but updated with all the modern conveniences. There was a small fridge and kitchen stocked with utensils and even a little dining table. I appreciate that they had milk waiting for me for my morning coffee. Full breakfast cooked to order was included. Bed was so comfy and ahhhh, that soaker tub!! Plenty of outlets and a very nice desk where I could set up my laptop. Separate sitting area/living room. The best part was the attached private patio that meant I didn't have to get dressed and slog outside for a cigarette. Ten out of ten.

Great location, close to shops and easy walk into the town and the sea front. The house was a good size, bedrooms were big and perfect for two families and three children, though you could squeeze more in if needed as there was also a pull out bed and single bed in with bunk beds. Open plan living and dining room offer great social space.

Great location right on the water. Bed was comfortable with all that was needed for a one night stay Food was good at reasonable price. Staff friendly. Small outside seating area overlooking the bay Public car parks close by and free overnight from 8pm to 8am so overnight stay in hotel car parking cost about £5 outside these hours. There is a very nice small sandy beach just outside the hotel which was used by families with small children as the water was quite shallow.

The property provided a larger than average space for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) the sofa bed was super comfy and the main bed was too - there was no arguments over who was sleeping where! The bathroom and kitchen were brand new with everything we needed. The host even ran to another hotel to get me a safety pin for my wardrobe malfunction so I could get to the wedding on time and secure!! The location was perfect for us as the family wedding was at Tunnels Beaches which was opposite! Just perfect!

Everything in the apartment was clearly newly done, very clean and tidy, better than expected. Although workers everywhere when we arrived, bed frames, mattresses, rubbish and paint pots outside our apartment for the entire four days we were there, would have been a little dangerous for children. They just need to sort out the construction work to accommodate a more family friendly park.
