The room was amazing - roomy, well appointed, excellent shower room and free supplies! As we were able to park in their parking area, it took a lot of the stress away. Also the train station & bus links were just down the road, easy to walk to and get access to other places. The food was delicious - hearty breakfasts and good choice of meals later in the day. Good choice of wines and beers too

Was honestly not expecting it to be as good as it was. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Little touches in room were great (great taste award teas, coffees, chocolates; complimentary mini bar) bed was very comfortable, bathroom huge, room nice & warm with easy to navigate AC/Heat controls. Absolutely stunning red brick building, good soundproofing- couldnt hear any pub noise in the evening (except for kids playing in the beer garden).

The food was exceptional, from our lunch, to breakfast. The menu choices were varied and felt fun with little comments of "cheeky add on's". The room had everything needed including the complementary mini bar.

Very friendly family hotel, far better value for money than the ramshackle Travelodge just down the road. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good basic breakfast at reasonable price.
