We had an issue with one of the showers but the property owner responded to our text very quickly and talked us through fixing the issue which we really appreciated. We liked the properties historical features and the local walks are fantastic, we look forward to visiting again.ShazFamily with young children

Good location for visiting family. This time we were able to book just the room instead of an inclusive breakfast which is better for us as we're not into breakfast much & rarely participated.

The bridal suite/(The limes room) was amazing! Some other rooms were also equipped with free mini bars, disarano & air conditioning! These tended to be in the main house rather than the Annex though. Both family rooms we stayed in were lovely although both incredibly warm (were okay once windows were all opened!)LauraFamily with young children

Things I like include the location as it is right on Maldon High Street, carpark on site, lovely owners/staff and decent quality room and shower. The bar actually shuts at 7pm on a Sunday but as we were residents we were able to get a drink when we came back from meeting family for dinner and got recommendations for where to head to for a nightcap.LouiseYoung couple

I stayed with my children - three of us in a family room and was spacious, clean and had nice linen and a fridge that was stocked with more than water which was nice! We had food from the restaurant which was accommodated at last minute and the pizza was enjoyed by all from the restaurants pizza oven! Location was great and parking was available. Access to the room was easy and the check in staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant and if I am over that way again I will stay at the same place!
