The property is very clean and there was a little care package left for us with chocolates, wine, and even dog treats for our golden. Everything was prepared and Clare was only a message away, she also let us know when we could arrive and when we needed to leave which was really helpful. The property is perfectly located for lots of walks, we went to Bakewell (20minutes away) and in between Buxton and Leek for some amazing dog walks.

It worked really well for our family, 1 child, 1 baby & 4 adults. Plenty of room to have your own space. Lots of kitchen utensils, cups and plates…better than most we’ve been too.

My family and I really enjoyed our time at the cottage. On our second day at the cottage there was an issue with the water and as soon as the host was aware of the problem they were very attentive, responded and came to check what the issue was. The host and her husband were very communicative, took care of the problem and even compensated us for the issue. The place is great, suitable for families, as a romantic getaway or a fun weekend with friends.

The Coach House was a really cozy and family friendly location. We felt like we’d found a home away from home and really had an amazing time. From the decor to the necessities to even bringing us flowers and candy for the kids, Michelle was a really lovely and thoughtful host. We would highly recommend this beautiful home for your next getaway.

So good in all ways- the family room was very comfortable for the 4 of us, and the hosts were very accommodating of our 2 young children (age 6 and 1). Breakfast was lovely, and again, really good for us as a family with a high chair and plastic plates/ cutlery all set out for our toddler. The property was lovely throughout and hosts excellent- would definitely recommend!
