Great location to meet my partner when we can tie in work schedules together everything close by if we needed for work or family. room was excellent. comfortable clean and shower room ideal facilities for my restricted movement and limited mobility. All friendly staff pleasant manner and good humoured. accommodated late checkout request as well. Missed breakfast 😭 but smell was amazing. Definitely recommend and will stay again.

The nightclub boasts 2 resident DJs. It is open Thursday-Saturday until 3am and bank holiday Sunday's and also caters for private functions. The bar also provides entertainment including music, karaoke and sports on TV.

My room & ensuite were clean & tidy. Staff were exceptional - the housekeeping ladies I liaised with were Mari and Charlene when I asked for a few more milk pods and extra toilet paper roll. I did not have the opportunity to try out the hotel's catering facilities as family kept me plied with food haha, but I would recommend the Commercial Hotel to anyone needing accommodation in the area. Everyone was so friendly, from the check in desk, to the young man who helped carry a large suitcase up to my room, to the cleaners to the patrons.

We loved looking out at the racecourse from our room. Lovely modern Hilton. Big improvement on the one which we stayed at the previous night at Edinburgh Airport. Great access to motorway heading North to the Highlands as well. Lovely friendly staff at breakfast area and reception despite being under pressure with large coach tour groups.
