We all had a fabulous stay at Church House. The kids cried when they got home! Such a cosy house that could fit the entire family! Will definitely go back.

Great for families and the little touches for children were appreciated, like the named cookies, kids robes, bunk bed in the family room with curtains. Spa was good and never felt too busy.

The staff were all wonderful. The atmosphere was very buzzy Saturday night but they still dealt with a tired family and baby with excellent enthusiasm and flexibility. Just a lovely group of people doing a great job in a fun and clean setting with good food and good cocktails.

It was lovely, hard to find something bad to say. Perfect for the price, the kids loved it, separate area for adults to have fun during the night, so our baby could sleep soundly. It was a very convenient location with access to the Lake District if you have a car. The BBQ places were great as well.

We visited as a large family group with our “children” and grandchildren. As Blencathra and Eden View are the only accessible apartments on the first floor it was like having one large apartment with two kitchens and two bathrooms. It worked perfectly. The apartments were great, as were the views. Spacious grounds and even a family friendly pub within walking distance.

Stylish AND functional for families. No compromise on luxury because the little one are along for the stay. Lots of little extras to ensure kids are welcome, entertained and catered for. The family rooms with the bunk beds are the best that we’ve stayed in. Can’t be beat. Friendly, courteous staff, despite our stay being early on in the restriction being lifted and the staff being new and still training. Just fantastic.

Really enjoyed our stay here! As a family with 2 young children the hotel catered for them really well. When we got to the room the children had cookies and welcome packs left in the room, even a spa robe and slippers, That was a really nice touch! The room was great and had bunk beds for the kids which they loved! The hotel is lovely, modern with a really nice spa. The pool is also family friendly & the food at the hotel was excellent.
