The room was very cosy, with a lovely little corner bed for the toddler. Everyone slept really well. There were plenty of cushions and pillows to get comfy and it was so good having food available in the morning to set us up for the day. Sara offered eggs, fruit, yogurt etc. On top of the cereals and toast already there. We were also treated to a few sweet goodies, which was lovely.

Stonehouse Court Hotel offers bistro-style lunches and à la carte dinners in Court Brasserie. The restaurant serves modern fresh, contemporary, British cuisine.

Lovely grounds, historical setting, comfortable rooms and beds, lovely formal dining room, great value for money. I especially loved the environmental incentive program.

This stay provided everything we needed. Travelling with three children it is really hard to find accommodation. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff we very friendly and helpful. We chose our location to be near Stroud and Gloucester and this was perfect for us. The countryside was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Wendy was really helpful and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area.

Very clean and cosy. Amazing hosts, it snowed while we were staying and they lent us waterproof gloves and coats for the children and shared their sledges. They also helped us get clear access to the roads so we were safe to travel. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe and fun trip.

Communication prior to arrival was super. When we arrived the host met us and nothing was too much trouble. The Loft was warm and comfortable on a very chilly night and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A super set up for a family with 3 young children.

The room was spotless, big, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for a family of 5. The roast dinner was delicious, although an earlier table would give you a better choice of meats. Selection of ciders were great. The rabbit, chicken and guinee pig were loved by the kids 👍

Wendy and Steve the owners are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The family suite was able to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children in adjoining rooms. The beautiful weather meant we were able to enjoy al fresco dining and a walk to the Haresfield Beacon as well as a live singer. The breakfast is great.

I often have an idea of what a place will be like and how the room will be often to find it’s shabby or we are stuck with a view of the car park. However we had a lovely room where both children actually had a bed each. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for Gloucester and Stroud. Even found an outdoor pool for the kids not too far away. Considering it’s a pub near a train line (clues in the name 😉) not one of us had issues sleeping which is a first. Very quiet at night. Excellent food.

Great location. Super friendly hosts and staff. Gorgeous home made food and a comfy, large, clean, family room. Just what we needed as we made our way home with 3 very tired children! A lovely full English breakfast set us up for the day, before continuing our journey. We’ll be sure to stay again. Thank you!
