From Start to finish all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. There was no snobbery shown. The bedrooms were spotless, the breakfast was so good, fresh hot, and very tasty. The ground are absolutely beautiful, and the gardeners were friendly. Absolutely loved the place. My brother in law passed away to pancreatic cancer in Sussex, and I had been in Brighton for 4 days. I came up to ware as one of my dearest friends Ann had passed away to cancer leaving her husband, son, and daughter behind. She got to see her children Marry but didn't get to meet her 2 granddaughter as both her kids were expecting their first child. We spent 3 nights here for a girls reunion and it was the perfect spot for it. A gorgeous property, with loads of room for the 6 of us + one baby and one dog! Beautiful surrounding grounds with lots of lovely walks, very easy location from Stevenage train station. The hosts were super helpful throughout, we also arrived to a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The perfect place for a relaxing, countryside weekend.

The staff were incredibly helpful. The internet was not great and as we were over for a work trip it was very important that we had access. They went out their way to provide alternative solutions. The location is lovely and so close to the train line that getting into the city was really easy. The bar was a great addition.
