We actually rented two apartments for our family of 5 which was still cheaper than a single apartment/hotel in Budapest. This worked out pretty well as the apartments were next door to each other. The apartments were clean and well decorated and had everything to be able to cook or eat breakfast every morning. There are several grocery stores and bakeries within a few minutes walk and the train station itself is only about 5 minutes away (with a train every hour that gets you to Budapest in under 25 minutes.) Both apartments also had air conditioning which was a huge plus. We did initially have an issue with one of the fold-down chairs being broken and the front door access broke towards the end of our stay, but both issues were quickly resolved by the hosts who were super responsive.

The house was prettier than in pictures, it was clean, warm(with floor heating,) the beds are comfortable.There is one double bed downstairs and four single beds upstairs.Upstairs is one big room and one small bedroom, each with 2 beds.Everything inside is made with good taste and quality. Neighborhood is quiet .there are few supermarkets in Vac, owners recomanded a few good restorants in town,and Budapest is 40 min ride by a car. I would like to come back, maybe in summer!!
