Being able to buy food for yourself cheaply in the nearby supermarket was a plus. There are also a few nearby restaurants that are affordably priced and means we didn't bother cooking most of the evenings. It's nice to be able to ski practically to the front door, and not to have to walk too far in your ski boots before you can start skiing. Note: It's possible to ski from the top of the cesana cabin lift to the apartment, but not easy. Better to take the chair lift up.

This family-run B&B experience was way better than we anticipated. Parking was convenient right on the main street in front of the building. The rooms have been recently renovated and include comfortable mattresses, solid wood furniture, a desk, and extremely hot water in the shower. We had (303) located on the lower floor which included a patio door out to the terrace where we could sunbathe, meditate on the mountain, and take our breakfast and afternoon tea. The owners, Fabrizio & Simon take care of the day-to-day including a complimentary breakfast of coffee and some incredibly tasty cakes and tarts prepared by their mother. There is also a selection of nice cheeses, juices, and cereals to enjoy if you need less sugar first thing in the morning. We extended our stay a couple extra nights awaiting a parcel and stayed in their father's property two doors down with the same view and exceptional familial hospitality. They even extended the check-out for us our last day. We really enjoyed our time here and the warm welcome we received from the host family.
