I had an awesome stay there. Everyone was very polite. Although it was raining a lot, we felt very confortable at the room, which is cozy and warm. It was all very clean! Must have a car to stay there. Breakfast is homemade and delicious. View is beautiful!

We stayed at Sarah's Place for 3 nights. The communication beforehand went smoothly and Stefano already welcomed us at the entrance. The apartment is located in a larger residential complex in a quiet area above the centre of Menaggio. There is a reserved parking space in the area. The rooms were very nicely furnished and everything made a new and very clean impression. The kitchen facilities lacked nothing, there were more than enough pots. Stefano had also taken care of the first meal: there was a basket with a package of spaghetti, a jar of tomato sauce, a bottle of wine and a packet of coffee. WLAN worked without problems. Stefano was always helpful with questions and tips for the area. You should allow 20 minutes for the walk down to the ferry at the harbour and a few minutes more for the walk back uphill. Trips to Milan are also easily doable. Just take the ferry to Varenna and board the train there, which takes you directly to Milan in about 65 minutes. To Bergamo you need about 80 minutes and have to change trains once.

Really beautiful, unobstructed view of lake como. The house had everything we needed plus some extras (items for the pool when it’s open.). The welcome basket full of yummy Italian snacks and wine was a lovely touch especially given the odd hours of the local grocery stores. Easy 10 minute walk on a pedestrian path to the ferry and into town. Garage parking was also a plus. Also a nice little playhouse and kids books for small children. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Tobias met us at the ferry and drove us to the accommodation which was just stunning. Benedikte and Tobias went above and beyond as hosts and were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. Communication via email and text was very helpful even before we arrived which made the stay all the more enjoyable, as did the bottle of wine waiting for us in the apartment. We would definitely recommend Casa ToBe to anyone wanted a convenient base for a Lake Como stay.

Beautiful epoch house, lovely decoration well furnished and supplied. Large and airey with incredible views of the lake and mountains. Lovely private pool and outside dining area.
