Great little self contained guest house with full kitchen and bbq outside. There is also a nice little plunge pool right beside the guest house. It feels very private. Also Fred is an excellent French trained chef and his meals are outstanding! The best we had on Bora Bora easily! We had a car rented at the Quay but Fred will also offer to pick you up. He has been living here for 30 years and has lots of good information.

You can't get more Robinson Crusoe feeling... it was by far one of the most special stays we have ever had. The view of Bora Bora, the solitude and the natural life. To sum it up: It was a dream and we will definitely be back. Thank you Tea, Tatiana and Joël 😃

ROYAL BORA BORA features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and garden in Bora Bora. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has a garden view, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace. The air-conditioned rooms provide garden view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi.

Royal Bora Bora is owned by a local family, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The lady on the tour desk organised my place on a last minute half day lagoon trip which I recommend! My room was clean, quiet and went straight on to the garden. The beach and pool were always clean and there was plenty of space for everyone and free hire of snorkelling equipment. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice - cooked, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and crepes! I also had dinner in the hotel restaurant - the Royal Bora Bora platter of fresh fish sashimi, poisson cru and prawns was delicious as well. Drinks were reasonably priced in comparison with other places I had ordered cocktails around French Polynesia. The hotel was a short walk from a small market, other restaurants and main public beach. Shuttle service was easy to book and on time. Whole experience was stress free. There were also bikes and kayaks for hire.

Everything was perfect. On top of the things that have already been mentioned: We‘ve travelled with a 4 year old and they’ve had kids seats on the bike and bikes for every age group. We just loved it!

The location is superb, 10 metres from the water. It is described as a bungalow but read large shed with patio doors. Inside there is a large, brand new bed which is really comfortable and a nice bathroom. The kitchen area is very small but functional. Also most importantly there is air conditioning. Outside there is a lovely large deck with a huge bench and bar table and chairs. It is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down.

The accommodation is well organised and the sitting room on the patio is great. It's a perfect place for a couple, even for a couple with one kid, but for two people who want to have separate sleeping areas is not so convenient. The location is also perfect! The hostess is great and she responds in a few minutes when you need something!

The property is at walking distance of the ferry bay and most shops. This was suitable for me, it was a short stay and I also wanted to have the chance to go to the gym in town. Mimi lives next door, she is very lovely. The chalet is quite private and affordable. Mimi gifted me a beautiful necklace when I left.

When I arrived, I had just taken three flights from America to Bora Bora. From the moment I arrived at the Raihei hostel, I was taken care of, made to feel comfortable, great communication and support, a lovely family.

It’s everything as described. I love the style of the property! Beds very comfortable, wifi, air con all good. Absolutely gorgeous view of the mountain and literally a few minutes to Vaitape or Matira beach by car. Having a kitchenette in our apartment has been wonderful especially travelling with 2 children. Laura has been incredible with organising taxi, car hire, & excursion for us. If we are ever in the fortunate position to travel to Bora Bora again we would definitely stay here again.
