He even ordered us a taxi when we couldn't do it ourselves. The apartment was very cozy with everything you would need for a short and even a very long stay. It was close to everything and most important it was close to the highway, so your can start you journey every day very easily. The kitchen is very well equipped even though we ate outside most of the time. The terrace has a perfect view of Machico beach.

The hosts, Zhora and Ricardo were very helpful and easy to communicate with. We also arranged to rent a car from them and they met us at the airport with the car, led us to the apartment and then showed us all we needed to know about the apartment. There was a very good restaurant a block away, and the beach was less than a 5-minute walk.
