Large, extremely clean room. Had the cascade room which is the lower floor facing the Main Street. Surprisingly quiet. You can hear the upstairs people but not bad. Check in was via an envelope in the lobby. In the room was a nice homemade bread. Hot water took a bit to get warm. Bed was comfy.

Julie made checking in a breeze. She was delightful and excited for our stay with suggestions of what to all see along with some "must see" options. She was so sweet in giving directions for excursions and referred back to the hotel as "Home!" I appreciated that touch. ;)

All you can eat breakfast was nice. Not only they have a waffle machine and bacons, but also they have variety of food (i.e. I don't know the name exactly... but there were like fritata, crepe with cream cheese inside, etc). The pools and hot tub were nice, too.

There was a strange smell in the room when we arrived - seems like something as spilled and they did their best to clean up but did not manage to get the smell out before we arrived. However, when we mentioned this to the owner, he refunded the complete amount we paid, so this was very fair.

Breakfast was filling and prepared with care—one savory and one sweet item each morning. The TV is well-equipped with streaming services, the bathroom came complete with toiletries, and the B&B is in walking distance of the local river trail. Both Connie and Greg gave great suggestions of what to do and eat both in Ouray and in the neighboring towns of Ridgway and Montrose. They make guests feel like family.
